Sometimes the simplest things can be the most empowering. Children Texting

If you haven’t heard of ‘big data’, it’s essentially extremely large data sets that can be analysed to reveal patterns and trends relating to human behaviour and interactions.  It’s a buzzword of advertisers and marketers as to how they will target you with even more (relevant) adverts; of the medical profession for wiping out disease; for the police in identifying and responding to waves of crime, and so much more (I’m over-simplifying).

But what about child protection?

Text messaging – it doesn’t rely on silly algorithms like Facebook to determine what you might like to read.  It isn’t like Twitter where there is a constant stream of information.  It’s personal, it’s simple and it has a 100% open rate.
