I have been privileged to work with a great many public, private and third-sector organisations over the years for a range of short and long-term projects or training and consultancy services specifically related to keeping children safe online.

Police

  • Online safeguarding training for POLIT, PVP, Neighbourhood teams and SCAIDP courses.
  • I dedicate a number of days each month to work (voluntarily) with my own local POLIT team giving me first-hand insight and experience, including setting up the first and only police safeguarding network, LPSN. Further information about the safeguarding network can be found HERE.

Charities

A range of projects and services for a number of charities, e.g. NSPCC, including:

  • Writing and recording bespoke videos for training/awareness purposes, on a variety of online safeguarding topics.
  • On-site or webinar training sessions.
  • Risk-assessing apps and games for public awareness.
  • Article writing on a number of online safeguarding matters for a number of UK and international charities.

Companies

  • Complete online safeguarding course creation, both written text and video delivery.
  • Trust and safety consultancy in relation to new or existing products, including advice regarding new or existing policies and procedures, plus online safeguarding training for all staff.
  • Advice, guidance and risk assessments related to new online services and apps, e.g. Age Appropriate Design Code.
