e-Safety Advisere-Safety has been a passion of mine for a number of years, ever since I was asked to lead for Lincolnshire County Council Children’s Services. Engaging with 350 schools, school improvement, safeguarding, police and the third sector I have created, raised and delivered many initiatives that have resulted in a significant increase in awareness in all schools in the county.

I am also passionate about schools using ICT in new and innovative ways to enable children to be the next generation of digital leaders, but without fear of online risks and issues. e-Safety should never be a barrier to this innovative learning and I can help you overcome any of the concerns you have.

Starting off as a CEOP Ambassador all those years ago I have trained and empowered children, teaching and support staff in hundreds of schools; raised initiatives with the Police for county wide problem solving; and much more. Working at the local authority allowed me to take a more strategic view of school needs, particularly in regards to policy and liabilities. I have a very deep understanding of the technology used in schools whether for curriculum or administration purposes. This includes services such as internet filtering, new collaborative tools such as social networking and the use of new technology such as iPads.

My services will help schools with the overall governance of e-safety, i.e. policies, procedures, advice.  You can either contact me using the details below, or have a look at some of my services at my website HERE.
